Weird news, folks. "Young Shields" by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone will be used as distant background music for one minute and fourteen seconds on this Thursday's episode of The O.C. I'm going to be playing a show in St. Louis that night, so if somebody wants to tape it for me, that would be rad.

THAT'S SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

i was watching that show at my friend's house and her neighbor was practicing the piano, and i thought the piano was some weird avant-garde background music and i thought that was pretty cool, but this is MUCH cooler.

great show in boston (er, somerville), by the way! i really liked that you added a band to your set. i saw you open for xiu xiu at the smell in l.a. awhile ago and i've been a fan since. were you at the books show at the mfa that thursday? i think i saw you...congrats on the o.c. haha
