Kansas City this weekend

I made the soundtrack for the first feature film by video artist & photographer Laurel Nakadate. It's called Stay The Same Never Change. I also acted in (it for about five seconds), drew some pictures for it & helped edit it. Laurel & I have been working on this thing for a long time & it's finally done & I'm really proud of it. The movie is premiering in Kansas City THIS WEEKEND (it was filmed there). There is a preview screening at the Screenland Crossroads Theater at 7pm on Thursday, January 31, & then the opening opening plus opening reception are at 6pm on Friday, February 1 at Grand Arts. Laurel & I will also be leading a gallery discussion on Saturday, February 2 at 2pm at Grand Arts. I guess that means we will be sitting on folding chairs & you can ask us serious questions about our work which we will answer slowly & thoughtfully between sips of bottled water.
If you can make the opening, Stay The Same Never Change will be playing at Grand Arts until March 15. After that, I don't really know what will happen.
You can download the movie's press release here: http://www.cftpa.org/NakadatePR.pdf
